About HW Transportation Group

Kiran has been working on our team as far back as the inception of our first division, Canadian Flatbeds Ltd. She has played an instrumental role in the growth of the company. Working with her husband, business partner, and our founder, Harry Wadhwa. As he grew the company truck by truck, she assisted behind the scenes with the administrative tasks.

Even prior to CFL, Kiran was career- and family-focused, having graduated with a BCom in International Business from University of Victoria and working in the financial and software sectors for over 16 years. After Kiran and Harry welcomed their first child, Kiran’s career shifted to CFL, helping Harry grow their family business together, even as their family grew, welcoming 3 more children.

Kiran loves working at HWTG because, while our multi-divisional organization grows steadily, it’s the team – many of whom have been with us since our formative years – that make it a great place to work.

Manpreet joined our Canadian Flatbeds team in April 2016 and has grown to become our Vice President of Operations for CFL. He is a valuable contributor to our team, guiding our operations team as we strategically implement and execute solutions for clients. He attended York University where he graduated with a BA in Psychology.

Although he is afraid of heights, he has been bungee jumping and is looking to give skydiving a try soon!

With over 20 years of IT experience and 6 years in the transportation industry, Farrukh brings valuable experience to our team, managing our internal systems and ensuring that our group of companies stays knowledgeable of innovative and emerging technology.

A fun fact that many may not know about Farrukh? When he was younger, he wanted to be a pilot!

Having been in the transportation industry since 2014 and with our CFL division since July 2018, Lovepreet brings valuable industry experience and knowledge of safety and compliance best practices to the HWTG team. She graduated from Kanya Maha Vidyalaya Jalandhar India with a B.Com Prof. and then completed a diploma in Business HR at Sheridan College.

In her time off, she likes to play badminton, collect different currencies, and enjoys learning new things about different certifications in the transportation industry.

Trucking runs in the family for Deepika, with both of her parents being professional truck drivers! Deepika has grown up in the industry and completed her Business of Administration advanced diploma from Sheridan College and B.A. in Leadership and Contemporary Studies at Wilfrid Laurier University. She too joined the industry professionally, joining our CFL team in 2017, working her way up to our Manager, Inbound Operations.

T.J. moved with his family from beautiful British Columbia to Ontario in 2004, where he was introduced to the transportation industry. After joining Canadian Flatbeds in 2017, from day one, T.J. has been dedicated to growing his expertise in transportation, equipment, dispatch management, and keeping our customers and drivers happy. Since becoming our Manager – Outbound Operations, he has been instrumental in helping ensure that client freight gets safely to its destination.

In his spare time, T.J. loves being active and has been playing Ball Hockey for over 16 years. His passion for the sport has taken him to Budapest, where he represented Team India in the World Juniors.
